Monica and Shannon, 6 Months Down, Many To Go
The singer celebrated the couple’s six-month anniversary by posting some pics on Twitter with the message: “Today 6 months ago,we said I DO…God is so powerful, he’s all knowing. His plan 4 us is greater than the 1 we have 4 self.”

5 Ways To Keep Your Man From Cheating
2. Know his friends – No man in a relationship really has any business out on his own. If he goes anywhere, he’s rolling with his friends. If his friends know that you are the business, they will make sure he doesn’t make any mistakes.
Watch out for the ex-girlfriends. Hooking up with an ex doesn’t feel like cheating to a lot of guys especially if they have children together and your relationship with that person is new. You probably won’t win over the ex-girlfriend like you can with the friends, but you can talk to your man and find out his feelings on her.
3. Let Him Know The Consequences – Please Don’t say: “You better not cheat on me or I will burn your momma’s house down, blow you up on Twitter and slash your tires!”
Do say: “Just to let you know, I’d be really hurt if I found out that you cheated on me and I’d never be able to commit to repairing what we have together if that happened.” (WARNING: Only bring this up in a conversation about cheating please don’t come to your man with this out of the blue)
4. Let Him Know He’s Special - Cheating isn’t always about sex for men, it’s mostly about ego. That’s why good looking guys with good looking girlfriends cheat on them with ugly women. Even the smallest and most insignificant ego boost is satisfying for us. So stroke his ego when you can, and expect some stroking in return.
5. Take Interest – Take interest in your man’s life. Find out what he’s doing when he’s not around you and follow up after he does whatever he’s doing. This is in no way about snooping, it’s really about getting more involved in his life and getting in a rhythm of sharing.

6 Things Good Girls Can Learn From Bad Girls
6 Things Good Girls Can Learn from Bad Girls:
Obviously, right? Men are visual creatures. But when Dr. Lieberman asked men why the hay-ell they stayed so long in a dead-end, destructive relationship, the FIRST thing they said was, “She was amazingly attractive.” So ladies, if you hope to be the object of a man’s desires, woo him in the way that only a sultry woman can. First, get yourself in shape (yoga and pilates will make a nickel bounce off your back-side). Know what clothes best fit and compliment your shape. Get your hair and make-up right, and you’ve got the that most important thing checked off the list.
#2 Dress
Take a look at what you’re wearing now. What does it say about you? The way you dress tells a man more about you before you can have him at “hello.” It conveys a message about how confident you are and how interested you are in attracting men. The more effort you put into looking alluring, the more it tells men that you appreciate yourself and think you’re worth going to the trouble of being stylish and well put-together.
#3 Sex
No, no. We’re not suggesting you give out the ‘cookies’ like candy. Conveying the air of a “promise” of maybe, possibly, getting the kitty is what make men pant for bad girls day in and all night. In a survey, male subjects almost unanimously said that sexual attraction put them–and kept them–in hot pursuit. But when it does come down to…ehem…doing ‘the do,’ knowing how to pleasure a man orally makes them putty in your hands. Just like women want to feel beautiful, men what to feel powerful–and having a woman pleasuring their private parts is every man’s fondest desire. Yup, its true.
#4 Personality
This pretty-much sums it up: “Bad girls have tons of personality because in order to get a man to look up from his work or from another woman and follow them, they have to be the shiny new toy that glistens in the sunlight.” By the way, did you notice that personality is the fourth on the list? Yep
#5 Lifestyle
Which means, do you have a life? Surveyed men admire women who have something else going on besides trying to make a relationship the center of their universe. Don’t have a hobby? You should get one. Learn a new language. Travel. Hang out with your girlfriends–men notice that kind of stuff.
#6 Come on Strong, then Back Off
Men are notoriously good at this–they come on strong, get you all in a lather, then just ‘disappear’ for a few days. Or weeks. What’ good for the goose is very, very good for the gander. This tactic is called, ‘bait and switch.’ “The bad girl is just like a fisherman who lets the bait dangle close to the fish’s mouth and then pulls it away a little bit, then lets it dangle, then pulls it away, with the soft to and fro of the current until the next time the fish sees the bait he can’t help but swallow it hook, line, and sinker.”
*Now, get'em Girl!!*

Signs You're The Other Woman
1) You’ve Never Been To His House
This is undoubtedly the biggest red flag an unfaithful partner can wave at his other lovers, and one that far too many women are willing to ignore. If you haven’t seen a man’s house after a few weeks of dating, something ain’t right. It may just be a disgusting bachelor pad…or he may have some pads in under the sink. See what I did there? Anyway, there’s no real excuse for a man hiding his home from you and if he keeps giving them to you, he might be hiding something else: you.
The “other woman” may get to hang out with some of a man’s homeboys, but she probably won’t get introduced to his whole crew (especially not his female friends) or his parents. Friends who may be loyal to his girlfriend or are known for being gossipy won’t get the introduction either. And if you have met family, you were not granted a formal introduction (i.e. running into his sister at a party or being at his house when his cousins drop by). Not knowing the key players in his life after a few weeks= normal. Not knowing them after 8 months= um…yeah.
3) He Doesn’t See You During Normal Business Hours
You might not be simply relegated to after-the-club booty calls, but if you’re the side girl, you don’t have an all access pass either. Unless his girlfriend/wife is out of town, you probably wont get the marathon Saturday night dinner through Sunday brunch date. You can’t count on Friday being ‘boo time’. You can’t spring things on him last minute and he’s always got to check his schedule and move things around before he agrees to set a time to do anything with you aside from coming by for some action.
4)…Nor On Special Occasions
You coulda swore he mentioned that he always does it real big for his birthday, but when it rolled around, he told you he decided to keep it low-key this year and spend the evening with his parents. You know, the ones you ain’t met. Superbowl Sunday? Party with the guys. No girls allowed. Valentine’s Day? He’s gotta work, but y’all can do something to make up for it on the 16th, if that’s cool with you. You might get something special going for YOUR birthday, but that’s because it’s off his people’s radar.
5) You Can’t Be Online Friends
He told you he didn’t have a Facebook page. You searched and how ’bout he got a Facebook page? Whomp. And you don’t worry about tagging him in any pictures, because he acts like your camera phone might steal his soul every time you so much as look like you might snap his pic. Besides, he said he doesn’t go on there that much and he’s gonna delete it. But every time you check, his profile picture has changed. Oh, and he has a private Twitter page and would rather you didn’t follow each other on there.
Which Type Of Women, Men Aviod
No, she’s not the lady who dwells in a house, she’s the lady who dwells on the past, dwells on the “issues,” dwells on every wrong part of the relationship–particularly when she hasn’t even been “wronged.” She’s the lady who won’t let go of the fact that there are socks on the floor, even during Thanksgiving dinners, and who’ll nag a man till his ears fall off, for no real reason at all.
Sure some reprimand is necessary when dealing with man-creatures, but the dweller never makes enough time for a good time. She’d much rather pout and nag all day. Men avoid this woman.
2. The Golddigger
This category of the ‘gold-digging’ woman may be easy to guess on this list. But, it may be very difficult for some of you women to realize when you have gold-digging traits.
Many assume that a gold-digging woman has to be a “trifling skank” who looks the part, with designer earrings and handbags and an obvious groupie orientation. But, men can also tell a gold-digger by observing when a woman shows interest in him.
If you’re the kind of woman who only calls, likes, or shows interest in a man when he’s at the topmost of his game–yet you’re ghost when he’s broke–you might be a gold-digger…and he can see right through you.
3. Madame TOO Dependent
She can’t think on her own, and needs his every approval. She’s Madame Way-Too-Dependent, and men avoid her like the plague. While men love women who show that they need them, they tend to approach overly dependent women with caution. In this post-recession economy, when everyone needs to have her thinking cap on, many men have calculated that they can’t afford the liability of a woman who “can’t breathe” without them. That “I-can’t-breathe-without-you” concept only works in R & B songs. Back up a little, and give dude his space.
4. Madame TOO Independent
While you don’t want to be too dependent, you don’t want to be too independent either. Let a man do what he’s been socialized to do: let him open the doors, pull out your seat, walk by the edge of the sidewalk – and all that good, gentlemanly stuff. If you insist on being both the man and the woman in your relationship, you might drive away the men; after all, there wouldn’t be much use for them, now would there?
5. The Psycho
She calls once, twice and 15 million times to see where he is, where he’s going-and by what times of the day: every day. She might as well be his stalker because she also checks all his social media pages, blows up every time a girl says “hi” to him, and threatens to hurt him if he doesn’t give her attention. Uhmmm…she’s the psycho, and she’s definitely on the list of women that men will avoid. If you have her traits, please let go and let God.
6. The Snob
Yes, we all know you’re perfect, but men can detect imperfections in women who claim to know and have it all. Perhaps such women have been influenced by their equally snobby girlfriends, but they’re the ones with snobbish traits that push their potential lovers away. They snicker when presented with handmade, well thought-out gifts, they hold their noses several times a day, and they scorn any man’s ideas they deem less-than-worthy. In short, men can identify them from a distance–and they keep away.
7. The Bore
OMG, if you have nothing else going on for, about, or around you, at least have your character. How many times have you heard a man compliment a female celebrity on her physical assets, but then say in the next breath that they’d pass on her as a long-term lover because she looks so darn boring? Men don’t need you to be an amusement park with boobs, all hours of the day, but they certainly could use some mental stimulation and good conversation, once in a while, believe it or not.

What Men Really Want In A Woman
What Men Really Want In A Woman:
1. Confidence
Men want a women who doesn’t (not to be confused with want) need anyone to tell her she’s amazing. They are looking for the girl who doesn’t care about past relationships or get insecure about female friends.
2. Independence
Guys like a lady who can, if necessary, stand on her own. While most men take pride in financially supporting their women, they also like to feel like they have a complementing partner.
3. Emotional Stability
Crazy is not cute. Just ask Halle Berry. Men are turned off by emotionally needy women. No guy wants to walk around on eggshells all day just to keep you from crying.
4. Wit
Men like women who can keep up with them on an intellectual and comedic level. It’s not so much about your formal education as it is your ability to translate lecture material into clever conversation
5. Class
There is a reason some loud, boisterous women are single. Whether we like it or not, men wear their women. Our appearance and behavior is representative of them. Men like a woman who knows how to act like a lady, in the traditional sense.
6. Domestication
It’s in a man’s nature to want to be nurtured; and they like women who cook and clean—sort of like a June Cleaver 2.0.
7. Spontaneity
Try living on a whim every once in a while. Unpredictability and adventure keep you exciting and guys like a girl who’s up for anything.
8. Healthy-looking Physique
Men go ga-ga over the bodies of women in music videos and on magazines. They want a woman whose body appears to be in decent shape with more muscle than adipose tissue. Men are visual!!
9. Discernment
Guys don’t like to talk about their feelings as much as women, especially during the playoffs. Know when and when not to pester him with discussions about the relationship and your feelings. They appreciate a woman who can identify when to shut up.

3 Reasons You Can't Hold A Relationship
3 Reason You Can't Hold A Relationship:
You chose what was available, not what was healthy
You may find yourself in the repeated circumstance of choosing men that happen to be in your gym, your work, your school, your area, and just men who are there for “being there” sake. If you date what ever’s available, as opposed to seeking what’s healthy, you'll end up with more than a few tears on your pillow at night.
He’s protecting you from himself

You may find yourself in the repeated circumstance of choosing men that happen to be in your gym, your work, your school, your area, and just men who are there for “being there” sake. If you date what ever’s available, as opposed to seeking what’s healthy, you'll end up with more than a few tears on your pillow at night.
He’s protecting you from himself
Sometimes, it’s just not personal with relationships. Sometimes, your pattern may be that you choose men who find you incredible and amazing, but know that they’re not worth your mind, body and soul. As a favor to you, they won’t foster a relationship with you. Relationships are all about matching your gifts to the right man’s gift. If you fail to do so, you will wind up with someone who can’t–and won’t–keep a relationship with you.
You’re too scared of letting him go
As you can see above, when a man who isn’t right for you fails to keep a relationship with you–that’s a good thing. But, some women are so desperate for a relationship, they send every indication to the man they’re seeing, that they can’t let him go. They suffocate him, they forgive him for unforgivable transgressions, and they puppy around, hoping that he will stay forever. That energy of clinginess, suffocation, fear of independence and inability to let go, can trigger all sorts of panic neurons in a man’s body. So, if you want him to stay, stand up for yourself politely and strongly, don’t have his child after two months–or as a “tactic,” check his dysfunctional behaviors without getting loud and boisterous, and be thoroughly unafraid to let him go, if he acts the fool. Given that premise, he will not only think twice about acting the fool around you, he will also be more comfortable keeping a relationship with you.
5 Unhealthy Things Women Often Do For Love
1. Give up our identity
Are you the type of women that falls off the radar with friends or abandons your career/hobbies as soon as you fall in love? Not a good move. One of the most unhealthy things you can do for love is abandon what makes you you. That’s what made a man fall for you. And that’s what’s going to keep you whole if the love ever leaves.
2. Try to “work with” a man
This is another unhealthy thing women do for love. We try to work with a man that isn’t worth the time, effort, or love. Have you ever dealt with a man that claimed to love you, but then continually disrespected you and the relationship by his behavior? Women need to accept that some men have no sense of integrity or character. And they will say and even do anything to get what they want from a woman that they know loves them. Men like this do not love you.
3. Have sex to create love
Sometimes women choose to have sex with a man because we think it will strengthen the bond and magically manifest love. The reality is that men can have sex without attachment. That is not the case for women. Recognize and accept that. Love is love, and sex is sex. And it’s not healthy to make love to a man while he’s just having sex with you.
4. Avoid setting standards
I know numerous women that make remarks like “I love him and I know he loves me, so I don’t need him to make a commitment.” Basically what these women are saying is this: I don’t really love myself so I’m fulfilled with whatever “love” he’s giving me. And if I can recognize that, then the man you supposedly “love” can most definitely recognize it as well. It’s not healthy to avoid having a basic set of relationship standards. When a woman has standards it’s because she loves and values herself. And you will never truly find love until you first love yourself.
5. Ignore red flags
What’s another unhealthy thing women do for love? We put aside all logic. And one way we do this is by ignoring red flags. Sometimes the red flags are tiny, like if a man tells endless and unnecessary little white lies. And sometimes the red flags are as subtle as a flying brick upside our head. In either case, we ignore the red flag(s) because we think we’re in love. Not a healthy move. When a man subtly or overtly reveals himself to be a certain type of individual, believe it! Do not ignore red flags all in the name of love.
