Tami vs Meeka..What's Really Going On

 

Tami says that she will not come back on BBW if Meeka returns!  Tami also revealed that she is in LA pursuing acting gigs and her ideal role would have been LisaRaye’s role on “Single Ladies.” #GirlBye

For those that may not watch the show (damn shame), but Single Ladies has become my "go to" sitcom post-Girlfriends. Its a more modern, sexier version of Girlfriends, but still with class.  In other words, Tami would not fit in at all (just like she doesn't fit in the circle now)!

In response, Meeka has said that she would have never thought that Tami would stoop down to the “angry black woman” stereotype and she’s too grown to be fighting. She labeled Tami a bully and ‘unstable’ and said that, despite what Tami said about her ‘defense mechanism’, she really came in there with the intention to fight her. She also confirmed that she IS in fact suing Tami because she feels Tami needs to suffer the consequences of her actions.

Personally, I think Meeka should sue Tami. Tami needs to understand that you can not go around slapping people, you can not go about putting your hands on people, point blank period!  We all SHOULD have learned this lesson by grade school.  It was a bad look for Tami, as well as other black women that do NOT conduct themselves in that manner, yet have to face the stereotypes, as if we do.   

Basketball Wives Season 3 Premiers Monday, May 30

 

“Basketball Wives” season 3 will premiere Monday, May 30, and though the trailer gave us a sneak peek into the drama we can expect, Shaunie O’Neal herself disclosed a few exclusive details:

On Royce:
“Royce is back. But truthfully I don’t really deal with her this season. After her behavior at the reunion show, I realized she wasn’t someone I wanted to give my time to. I think the rest of the girls and I have realized that Royce is the type of woman that constantly has to have some sort of drama going on, so we’ve come to expect it. She’s involved in some drama now, with Jen over the leaking of Royce’s pictures. So I try not to deal with her.”

On (new castmate) Meeka Claxton:
“Meeka was very persistent. She reached out to us regularly, emailing her credentials, pictures, really letting us know why she belonged on the show. Well she’s already found some drama. I can’t give too much away but let’s just say, she had to learn the hard way.”

“Gloria is actually going to be a part of another show I’m doing.”

On the show receiving backlash:

The drama, the fights, that’s real. That’s not something I’m responsible for. I wish all TV had a constant message, but it doesn’t. Our show is just another slice of reality.”

The Return of Basketball Wives

 

The ring-less wives of basketball return with more cat fights, cuss outs, and labels of being coochie crooks. VH1 has sent a press release confirming that the third season of Basketball Wives will premiere on Monday, May 30 at 8 p.m.

The presser gets off with claims of Shaunie moving back to Miami, “determined to be drama free.”  After that lie is exposed viewers can also catch Evelyn new journey, as she transitions from being a non factor in the NBA Wives club to Chad Ochocinco’s new trophy.

As for the other ladies, expect Royce to continue beefing with her fellow ex-baby mamas while both Suzi & Tami trying to renew friendships with their cast mates.

Evelyn Lozada Gets Upgraded

“Basketball Wives” cast mate Evelyn Lozada, who was allegedly holding out for a pay increase, has supposedly doubled her salary. According to TMZ, Lozada wanted $20,000 per episode, and although she didn’t get that amount, she’s quite happy with what she was offered, which is supposedly double her current salary.
