Beyonce..Schoolin Life

Schoolin' Life - Beyoncé by HDMI44

Beyonce is a freak, all day, all night…according to her new track titled, “Schoolin’ Life”. The song dedicated to those 20-somethings, 30- somethings, 40-somethings, pretty-somethings and sexy-somethings was written by The Dream and has an old 80′s funk feel reminiscent of Prince. It will be one of the three songs that will be added to the Deluxe album exclusively available at target.

Mom and Dad tried to hide the world
said the world’s too big for a little girl
Eyes wide open can’t you see
I had my first heels by the age of 13
Mom and Dad tried to hide the boys
I swear that just made them want me even more
At 14 they asked me what I want to be
I said ‘baby 21, so I can get me a drink

Johnny Gill-In The Mood

It's been 16 years since award winning, R&B veteran Johnny Gill released a solo album. Check out his new single, "In The Mood", the first track from his forthcoming album, Still Winning on Notifi Records.

“In The Mood” was written by Gill, Ralph Stacey and Dave Young who has composed hits for Faith Evans, Toni Braxton and Mary J. Blige,

It's a blessing to be able to record again after 16 years and I'm excited for my fans to enjoy the new music, stated Gill.

The new album is set to be released this fall featuring production by Grammy Award Winning Producers Troy Taylor, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Bryan Michael Cox and Wyclef Jean.

*Ok seriously, this man can honestly sing! I will not and can not understand why it has taken so long? After hearing this, I needed a fan, a/c, a towel, need I go on. This is true "romance" music. Whew......

Wynter Gordon-Til Death

The U.S. version of Wynter Gordon’s first single, “‘Til Death” finally premieres. The first single is lifted from Wynter’s debut album, With the Music, I Die.

A version leaked a little while ago, but the official Adam Donald-directed clip premiered officially today. Wynter hopes to release her album some time this summer.

Chris Brown-Should've Kissed You

Chris Brown - Should've Kissed You from Mechanical Dummy on Vimeo.

Chris Brown premiered another new video on his website, MechanicalDummy.com for a track that’s not even slated to become a single. The clip for the Brian Kennedy-produced track is clearly self-financed, considering that Chris will be spending the label bucks on his video for the next single, “Next to You,” featuring none other than Justin Beiber. His latest album, F.A.M.E. is in stores now.

Beyonce is Billboard

In an exclusive interview with Billboard magazine Beyonce finally reveals the title of her new album (“4″ as in her number of solo albums) and talks openly about why, at almost 30, she felt it was time for her to officially take control of her career.

According to the 29 year old pop diva, her role within the music industry is to constantly “push the limits” and hopefully “evolve” in the process. The singer’s longtime collaborator The Dream echoes those sentiments, saying “Run the World (Girls) was not a safe singles choice for Beyonce to make. That [kind of song treatment] would never happen with any other artist of her stature, male or female.”

New music aside, Beyonce also confirms her role in the 3rd remake of the 1937 classic “A Star is Born,” which is being directed this time around by Clint Eastwood.

Jill Scott.....The Light Of The Sun

The cover art for Jill Scott's upcoming “The Light of the Sun” album has finally been unveiled. Though I cannot be sure, I believe it was photographed by Gomillion and Leupold. The photography duo have recently done cover shots for Ciara, Ke$ha, and most recently, Keri Hilson. They also did the cover shots for Jill’s “Shame” and “So In Love” singles.

“The Light of the Sun” has a U.K. release date of June 27th, however no date has been given for the U.S. release.
